The first week of the training in Dubai consisted of a combination of online and in person presentations on a variety of PFM topics. The programme was complemented by a presentation of guest speaker Ms Mona Bajman, Director of Subsidies Budget Division of the Department of Finance of the Government of Dubai.
In Amman the focus was on negotiations in a budget simulation and discussions on current PFM reforms in the participating countries
In the second week in Amman the programme was all “offline”, and focussed on negotiations in a budget simulation and discussions on current PFM reforms in the participating countries. A visit to Petra and a float in the Dead Sea as essential must-do’s in Jordan completed a very successful week. In total 21 participants completed their training.
